We’re very happy to welcome back London indie artist Starling back to the public foray after a year-long hiatus. You may remember our coverage of her alternative pop gems ‘Take It Down’ and ‘Misfit’, which introduced dream-world sound. With new single ‘No Rest For The Wicked’ running the lead on forthcoming The Body EP, Startling continues this flirtation between the fantastical and the real, but with a whole new sonic approach. What was once airy is now earthy; the lilting electronica swapped in for bluesy rhythms. It’s only eighteen months into Starling’s existence, but already this artist has undergone a drastic evolution.
